Texas Music Office; Social Media Strategist V. Marc Fort is the social media strategist for the Texas Music Office, an economic development program for the state of Texas within the Office of the Governor. Fort also maintains the TMO website EnjoyTexasMusic.com. He developed a live music grant available to help nonprofit orgs and city/state governments produce live music events. Fort has more than 20 years of music experience, including previous performances at CMJ with Scotti Brothers recording artists bo bud greene and with Hollywood/Mammoth Records' noise-pop band, Schatzi. He has also worked as a staff music critic for the Austin American-Statesman and The Daily Texan. He received his B.A. in English from the University of Texas at Austin.
